How it works!

Q: How does the photo booth work?
A: Following the steps below:
1) Select props: Be creative!
2) Enter booth and press start
3) “Get Ready!” “3” – “2” – “1” – “SMILE!”
4) Repeat 3 more times: Strike different poses!
5) Finish and wait for photos!

Q: How long does each session last?
A: Each session will last from 45-60 seconds from the moment you enter the booth to the moment you receive your photo.

Q: How many photo sets can be taken in an hour?
A: This can range from 40-70 sets/hour, depending on the flow of your guests/clients.

Q: Why would I want the Wacky Prop Box?
A: Be creative and try something different! With over $2000 worth of props warehoused, they are bound to stretch your imagination!

Q: Why would I want to rent double or multiple prints?
A: A copy for you and copies for your friend! As much as the photo booth is about sharing a moment, it is also about remembering them. What better way than to get double prints or multiple prints! Further to that, if you have a wedding or event album, we can help you arrange a guestbook!


Q: What colour backdrops do you have?
A: You can choose from the following:
1) Midnight Black
2) Fire Engine Red
3) Gold
4) Light Purple
5) Gold with Flower Pattern
6) Damask Pattern – Black and White
7) White
8) Forest Green

Q: What size are the photos printed by the photo booth?
A: The prints are a standard 4×6″ size.

Q: Is there any customization on the printed photos?
A: Yes, you can choose to have different layouts. We have an in house professional graphic designer, so she’ll work with you closely to ensure that the template is the way you want it to look! Lastly, if you have a logo for your wedding or organization, feel free to provide it to us!

Q: We have children attending our event. Will the photo booth rental work for us?
A: Sure! Children actually tend to have the most fun and get the most creative with our prop box! Let us know in advance and we will bring a step up box to ensure that the children are properly positioned for their photos!


Q: Is there a rental deposit?
A: Due to limited availability, in order to confirm your booking date, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% balance can be paid at a later date up to the event date.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: Wire transfer, Paypal (credit cards), and cash.

Q: Is the photo booth available for rent outside of Hong Kong?
A: Currently Photobooth Hong Kong is operating within Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and New Territories within Hong Kong SAR.

Set Up and Preparation!

Q: Where should we have the photo booth?
A: Well, it’s your choice at the end of the day. However, we would recommend the photo booth to be positioned in a general area where people socialize and closer to a side/wall so it is easy to control the traffic.

Q: How much space is required to operate the photo booth?
A: The photo booth is more than 1830 mm tall, more than 712 mm wide, and about 127 mm deep. A separate small table would also be recommended to place props on.

Q: How long does it take to set-up?
A: The photo booth takes about 30 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to take down. This is included in all packages.

Q: What power sources does the photo booth require?
A: The photo booth requires a standard 220V outlet. Our power cord can comfortably extend 15 feet from an outlet. Please let us know if you require more than 380mm and we will arrange it for you! Should you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at info@photoboothhongkong.com
